We're back for another Teacher Tuesday! 🤩🤩 Let's get to know one of our fabulous new teachers, Miss Jayme!

1. What classes/age groups do you teach at CSDS?
I teach the 10 and 12 year olds troupe classes and also level 3 tap. I really love teaching these beautiful kids as they are all so keen to learn and improve on their amazing talent.

2. What's your favourite style of dance?
Ahhh this is a hard question. I love teaching and dancing all styles. I love how all styles are so different but yet still relate to each other in some way or another. However, If I had to choose one style I would choose commercial jazz as it has so many different feels in the one style.

3. What's your favourite thing about being a dance teacher?
My favourite thing about being a dance teacher is helping and inspiring kids to do something not only I love but they do too. It is also so special helping them reach their goals they have been working on with you for a while like a double turn or the spilts.

4. What's your favourite food, and a food that you hate?
Ohhh my favourite food would have to be pasta or chocolate. One food I hate would have to be peanut butter I actually can’t stand it like even the smell makes me feel sick.

5. What's one thing you did for fun during lockdown?
One thing I have been doing during lockdown for fun is renovating a caravan I brought two weeks before going into lockdown.

6. One piece of advice for your students?
One piece of advice I would give to all of my students would be to never stop pushing to be the best version of themselves. Take every class you can, take in everything your teachers say, ask heaps of questions and push yourself out of your comfort zone as thats where you are going to grow and improve the most.

We'll be taking the next two weeks off of Zoom classes to give all of our hard-working students and teachers a very well earned break 😴 We're counting down the days until we can be back in the studio! ❤🖤 ...

We have a super special announcement to share with our CSDS families! You may not know that Miss April is part of the Dance Principals United Tribe, a group where we as business owners are constantly growing and learning. Our group decided to come together to put on a super special online event for all of our families during this tricky time. This exclusive Workshop Series is available only to members of the Dance Principals United Tribe.

We are beyond excited to invite all of our students to the Tribe Workshop Series next Saturday 2nd October.

This will be a great opportunity for our students to learn from some of the best in the industry and be inspired at home!

We would love to see all our students join in online, we can’t wait to be (virtually) watching our CSDS students learn and grow together.

We have been able to secure this workshop at the special price of $37 for our students. To book just go to https://www.trybooking.com/BUJLD or check out the link in our bio ❤🖤
