
As part of her desire to bring dance to the Narellan and Camden communities, Principal, April Pickering, encourages CSDS performances at local events such as the Camden Show, the Australia Day Festival, various school fetes and destinations such as Dreamworld on the Gold Coast.
Pre JuniorThis class is designed for 2-4 year olds. It combines the elements of both Jazz and Ballet.
We teach children to understand rhythm and music in a fun atmosphere. As our little students become more familiar with combining dance with music we gently introduce them to the basic techniques of jazz and ballet.

JazzThese exciting classes focus on fun style and energising technique. We include a warm up, stretching and corner work in each class.
At both mid-year and end of year concerts, a professional dance routine will be performed from this class.
By attending this class students gain a skill base of co-ordination, balance, rhythm, musicality and posture.

Taran JenkinsExperienced in teaching Contemporary, Modern, Jazz, Hip hop, Stretch and Fitness to students of all ages, Taran has a passion for her profession.
Taran began dancing at age two and trained at Glenda Yee school of dance to age 17. She is extensively trained in all styles, Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip hop, Contemporary and musical theatre and went on to run her own dance studio for four and a half years up to 2011.

Tap (GWT or Glen Wood Tap)This is a style of dance that allows your feet to be the accompaniment. Tap offers a high-energy style of dance that combines rhythm with technique.
It is also a style that suits the beginner as much as the advanced dancer. With classes ranging from age 3 to adult Tap is suitable for all ages.

Ballet Exams (BAL – Ballet Australasia Limited)Ballet is the basic structure for all forms of dance.
Our ballet classes are carefully designed to develop the essentials for good dance technique. This means that posture, movement quality, balance and co-ordination are carefully monitored. We also offer exams conducted by BAL (Ballet Australia Limited).

Miss Rima has a background in ballet, tap and jazz having completed BAL Exams to levels of pre-elementary, advanced and intermediate respectively over the past 13 years.
Modern ExpressiveModern Expressive is a style that incorporates slow and expressive dance movements. CSDS classes allow students to use their ballet technique more openly while being encouraged to add feeling to their dance style. Modern expressive class are most beneficial for students wishing to build on their ballet studies as well as being equally suited to those looking for a ballet alternative.

Hip Hop
Hip Hop is now an accepted, distinct style of dance which is rapidly increasing in popularity.
CSDS classes offer a fast paced enjoyable class with moves that will not only challenge the mind and body but showcase all aspects of the hip hop style.
Bri-Anna SpenceHaving danced since she was two and a half years of age, Brianna has more recently concentrated on Open Hip Hop, Jazz and Contemporary and finishing Ballet to Intermediate with RAD.
As well has her experience in teaching hip hop to children of all ages as well as adults, Miss Bri-Anna has also qualified in zumba and punch fit boxing. 
With 14 years dance experience, Miss Rebecca has various certificates through the BAL syllabus including Level 4 Hip Hop and is certified to work with children.

Alexander JeanAlexander Jean has been trained in jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre and hip hop.
He is a Glenda Yee student (2001-2011) and a Brent Street graduate 2012 who has performed with many great artists such as Guy Sebastian, Kate Miller-Hiedke, Anthony Callea, Kylie Minogue and Ricki Lee.
Alexander successfully became a member of the Project Dance group 2011. He was assistant chorepgrapher to 'Lil Banditz Krew', winner of Young Talent Time 2012.
Alexander has also made appearances as a back-up dancer on the Arias 2009, SYTYCD 2009, X Factor (2011-2012) and Young Talent Time 2012.

Boys' Hip HopCSDS boys’ hip hop classes provide the perfect opportunity for boys wanting to learn the latest Tap and Hip Hop moves. Fast paced, our classes teach all aspects of the hip hop style and challenge the mind and body.
Put to popular music, our tap steps come from the Glenn Wood Tap syllabus. By keeping our classes up-tempo, we find that boys improve their rhythm, confidence and co-ordination skills.
Nicole RomanNicole has been dancing for 7 years, first with Glenda Yee and then with CSDS.
Her teaching experience has also been with CSDS over the past year.
Motivated to continue teaching and take advantage of dancing opportunities that come her way, Nicole has taken out first place in two of her dance school subjects as well as taking part in numerous hip hop competitions.

ZumbaZumba is a fun and effective fitness workout which fuses vibrant Latin rhythms with easy to follow dance movements.
Great for the cardio-vascular system, Zumba works your body from head to toe. As you get carried away with the beat, it feels more like a party than a dance class!

Gymnastics Gymnastics is one of the most exciting forms of physical exercise. Great for the youngsters, it strengthens muscles, improves co-ordination and builds self confidence.
From forward rolls to flips, gymnastics is a fusion of strength, flexibility and power. Our students learn correct technique and are challenged by the progress they make through the skills we ask them to master. Students learn rolls, cartwheels, handstands, walkovers, handsprings, flips and acrobatics. And, at the end of the year they perform a display of their achievements.
Trained in ballet, drama and gymnastics, with extensive experience as a dance teacher, adjudicator and choreographer, Quintin has also appeared on stage, film and television.

CheerleadingCheerleading is an exciting sporting craze in Australia and is fast becoming one of the most popular classes at Centre Stage Dance Studio. Incorporating dance, gymnastics, stunting and cheering, it develops lifelong skills in leadership and community spirit. Cheerleading is great for physical discipline as well as mental attitude. For our pre-junior students this class is an introduction to cheerleading where kiddies learn tumbling, dance and of course, CHEERS.
Tara ShepherdMiss Tara entered the world of cheerleading in 2002 through one of Australia's first American style cheerleading teams, SWC.
SWC really put her 18 years of dance experience to the test. Through SWC she learnt how to stunt, base and tumble.
This, in turn, led to her permanent position in the management team as assistant coach and many national and international appearances including taking out 2nd place in the very first Australian National Cheerleading Championships in January 2010.
Keira BuryKiera Bury is a 22 year old student who has been involved in the dance world since the age of 2.
After training with Young Talent Time, she moved to Dallas at the age of 17 where she was accepted into a dance college and begun her cheerleading coaching and performing career. Currently a member of the University of New South Wales Stunt and dance teams she was recently offered a bid to the University Worlds Cheerleading Championships in the USA.

ContemporaryContemporary or modern dance is a style that takes free natural movements but incorporates them into the technique and structure of ballet or jazz. In our classes we aim to overlay the discipline of more traditional styles of dance with open interpretations.

SoloCSDS solo classes are accommodated in our timetable for students who wish to have individual tuition.

PilatesOften attributed as a way to a flatter tummy, stronger abdominal muscles and a leaner shape, Pilates is a relaxing, low impact class.
You may well get relief for back and neck pain as our classes focus on breathing techniques and physical exercises which both relax and strengthen these areas.
Although Letitia has a Bachelor of Commerce degree, her passion is exercise and she is qualified in Pilates Intermediate, Mat, Fitball and Pregnancy.
Over the past 22 years, Letitia, a SAASPER Gold level 3, diploma qualified, fitness instructor, living in South Africa, has used exercise to actively contribute to the health and fitness of the members in her own club as well as the community.
For Letitia exercise is the best and cheapest “medication”. Offering more than just physical advantages exercise has a marked positive influence on emotional well being.
During 2010 Letitia relocated to Sydney and enrolled in the Pilates instructor’s course because Pilates is the foundation of a better posture and body awareness.
What Letitia likes most about Pilates is its ability to correct muscular imbalance, realign the body, build core, abdominal and lower back strength and greatly reduce the risk of injury.

Paul has had a long and successful career in both singing and acting.
He graduated from The Australian International Conservatorium of Music in 2011 with a degree in music and is currently teaching for Voiceology Australia.
Trained under her mother, Marion Rouvas, Amanda is currently attending UWS at Nepean doing a Bachelor of Music Degree.
During her career, Amanda has been performing professionally and teaching for Voiceology Australia.
She has had many years of vocal performance and experience in the industry.

Miss Sarah is a professional filmmaker and photographer. For several years now, Miss Sarah has been giving guidance to actors and models of all ages, not only on set but in both class and private tuition situations.
Sarah's production credits as a Producer/Director include music videos, television commercials, documentaries and short films. Her work has been seen in Australia on Networks 7, 9, 10 and on Foxtel. Sarah has also directed several stage productions and worked in professional theatres as a stage manager and crew member in both Australia and the UK.
Fully trained, highly skilled and enthusiastic CSDS teachers work tirelessly with students to prepare for each and every performance.
